This project explores the ranges of emotional reactions in response to the five codes. The Internet by its very nature is increasingly seen as a medium of personal expression and the project in founded on the results of web searches.
The emotions mapped have been translated into weather icons. Ten emotions were chosen to reflect responses to the codes on a bipolar scale ranging amongst the oppositional poles of support and opposition. Plotting the icons against the time line of events provides a schematic 'emotion map'.
